new stills added to the photoblog!

good news, everyone!

I've updated the photoblog with stills from the actual performance at PSU! You can view them by clicking here.

And everyone who doubted my fabulous Marshall facades **coughchriscough**, please note just how much ass they kicked after all.

And never ever doubt me again.

So who were your camera operators? From those stills I can tell that they were all huge professionals. Really stellar work, I mean really really stellar work. I can't possibly describe the level of emotion caught in the very essence of those images. Wow those camera men were fantastic. Go camera men, go. Man someone should get them a professional deal somewhere, I smell an awards show inthe future for those guys. Fan....Tastic.......
Screw the talking prop, just let the camera men film the marshall props and the magic white box, thats all you really need

Well, I'm just going to go back to editing the documentary ... which, I can't help but notice, is half in 4x3 and half in 16x9. Hmm... what an interesting stylistic choice. Who on earth would have made such an unusual decision?

Well, I can tell you that the big "blue" cube was 36 x 30, which is a ratio of 5:6. However, the top of the cube was 30 x 24, which is a ratio of 13.25 x 16. Now, in terms of what ratio is better for Cubie, I hope most of the footage is in the 4 x 3 because it would make it look taller and slimmer.

I can't wait to see the documentary on the big blue cube!

Mmmmmm, sweet, sweet blue sugar. It's the tastiest of all sugars!

You see due to (in all but one case) the shape of the subjects head, the shoot demanded the 16x9 ratio. You see I just want to make my subjects look great. If their head is shaped such that a wider screen will make their face look more proper, well then that is what I have to do. Yeah, thats the ticket. The one exception was the bare breasted Goat Woman in the background. I had to shoot wide for the sole purpose of getting her in the shot. You must have a daily widescreen dose of bare breasted goat chick.......
