It's because they don't love you, Jairus.

Not like we do. We're your real family! We'll never abandon you. Now drink this Kool-Aid....

Thx for the nice words Joni.

I called everyone I know today to tell them that the show was sold out. But first, I described to them all the cool aspects of it. Heres sorta how the calls went:

"Hello is Jen there?"
"Yeah just a sec..."
"Hey Jairus how are you?"
"Oh I am great. I just got done with another rehearsal for the Rick Emerson thing."
"Oh yeah...when is that?"
"It's June 26th"
"Duh, I knew that,is that a Sunday?"
"Yeah, and it is going to be fan-fucking-tastic."
" I know you have told me a million times but, what is it, like a movie or something?"
"Well, I guess you could say that, but it is much more, live music, comedy, drama, and it is being performed at the beautiful Lincoln auditorium at PSU."
"Wow, that sounds cool. I know you have told me a million times but where do I get tickets?"
"Well it was invatation only, then they decided to sell tickets for 10 bucks at their web site."
"Cool, that is so cheap. I know I say this to you everytime we talk, but I am going to buy tickets I swear, today."
(Then in my best Alex Trebec)
"Oooooh sorry, they are all sold out."
"No way, that totaly sucks, I really wanted to go. I am so sorry Jairus.
(Then in my best Yoda)
"You will be,yes you will be."

Then I laugh in my scary voice.
