The formatting process continues, and I'm please to announce that WE GET THE KID "ON THE ROAD" BY PAGE SIX! That's within the first ten minutes of the show! IN YOUR FACE, CAMERON CROWE! Ooh, Syd Field would be so proud!
P.S. Is anyone watching the new season of "Project Greenlight?" Boy is that gonna be the greatest train wreck of all time!

fyi -- for those playing the home game -- our "get the kid on the road" moment (otherwise known as the "catalyst") is the first time Robert Plant appears in the kid's room.
UPDATE: I've reached intermission. 22 pages. We average about 2 minutes per page, so we're looking at somewhere between 45 - 50 minutes. Let's hope Act II is about the same length, and we just might meet that 90 minute goal yet!!
Hey Sigi! I was a Top 250 semi-finalist too! We have something in common! This was back during season one, though, when they were looking for the writer/director combo. I used to be a very active member of the original online community. I got to go to a cool party where I watched Affleck get sauced the day before he went into rehab. And I convinced Chris Moore to read my script even though I'd lost and he agreed, but then he had Jeff Balis read it who was an assistant producer or some junk in the first season -- the snotty little jew-fro boy -- anyway he told me it was a great story and very original and nothing anyone would ever buy EVER. So. That was my PGL experience. Good times.
