our first big setback...

God, thinking that we've been having far too much fun with our art, decided to deal us our first crippling blow.

We've lost the IHOR. We've been asked to pack our crap and hit the bricks.

(somewhere Mr. Chin is smiling)

We have one week to find a new rehearsal space.

All hands have been alerted and the search is on for IHOR 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO.

Ideas? Email me.

Never give up, never surrender.

(I was going to post about our trip to the theater today, but no........)

Brutal. With a capital B and that rhymes with D and that stands for it'll work it out. It's too important. You'll see. Someone will throw a space at you - even if you have to grab it from them.

Sorry though. No fun.

Don't worry, Andrew, your drums won't be homeless for long. We'll work it out! Never let down!

Hey Joni,

Pack your bags.

I'm flying you, Rick, and the whole crew down to LA so you can conduct rehersals in our studio space. Ha! I wish. Believe me, if this was 1985, the jet would be on the way; the past two decades haven't been kind though, and VH1 pays shit.

Seriously though, keep your chin up. Yours is a noble cause. I remember all the set backs we had when we were first getting off the ground, fighting our way through the New York music scene, selling out shows, but getting no respect from the industry. We had a vision though, we held strong, and ended up creating some of the most beloved music videos of all time. Sometimes things just sort themselves out that way.

If you think it would help at all, I could probably put on the old jumpsuit and try to intimidate your oppessors into cartoonish submission, but barring that I wish you and the BtJ gang the best of luck.

Stay Hungry,

Dee

Let us not dwell on the loss of the venue formerly known as IHOR. Let us reflect on the fond memories and great life experiences of...er...FUCK...does anybody have a trailer? There's a ton of shit to be moved.

When the going gets tough, the tough get drunk.
